The sky is falling

Once again our gracious government has issued that "Terrorist's may strike America at any time now", threat level "Paranoid" has just moved up to threat level "Too much Propaganda". As an American I really would like to know if the "Homeland Defense Circus Team" has really thought this out. There's orange, red, yellow, and so on. Next thing you know our leaders will be painting the threat levels in a paint by numbers book, and having the Christian Coalition handing them out on Saturday mornings at six a.m. I mean really people, I think the bulk of the damage has been done on 9/11, why must our government make everyone paranoid. As I write this I think back to the Mcarthy era, where anyone could be a "Communist", and was one if they said one little negative thing about the U.S. government.

I just want you all to remember that our talented government had all the information about who was coming and going prior to the 9/11 attacks, in fact the F.B.I. sent the C.I.A. a memo stating that "Persons on the Terrorist watch list" had entered the United States. Unfortunately for the families of the 9/11 attacks, our government either ignored the warnings, underestimated the resolve of the terrorists, or let it happen. I believe the latter happened, the 9/11 attack was the catalyst in which the U.S. could use to go into Iraq. Once again, I would like to remind you that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with the attacks on the twin towers. Everyone who died on 9/11 were expendible, for the greater cause of the United States and its quest for world domination--or a New World Order.

So I watch the nightly news and I see Bush Jr. and then I see Mr. Kerry: What a choice we Americans have! So it comes down to the lesser of the two evils, some choice. Of course there will be independents running, but come on...most of these guys are still in the stages of setting up their Grassroots campaign. Oh, as I shake my head in disgust I wonder why I complain, when I could be trying to make a difference. It seems that my lackluster attempts at acting like a citizen are not forthcoming, therefore I can only consider myself a resident of the United States. Sure I'll vote, but really people, do our votes really count? With the fiasco in Florida, it makes it seem like the president has already been picked. How long will this go on? Who knows, but I can tell you this: nothing last's forever.

As I close today, I look outside and see the sun shining brightly, I wonder if the American people are aware that they are being led into storm of great proportions. I'm hoping that some of "You" the Citizens, will wake up and see bright shining truth...that the United States is founded on lies, slave trade, opium trade, and piracy. We indeed live in a "Free" world, unfortunately "Free" has a different meaning to our leaders.

Messy Buu,

Really? It's robotic to compare one country to another country in their entireties, but not to compare the best traits of many countries to the worst traits of one?

See you're not doing that, what you are doing is overlooking the hard evidence...and you are speaking from YOUR opinion, which is your right, but never ever justify that you're right and your opinion is gospel. What is "Best", what is "Worst". I could ask two different people and get various answers, none the same. No, it is not "Robotic" to compare traits, but is "Robotic" when you have tunnel vision-like thinking. Depending if you're a Republican, Democrat, or what-have you; all of these political parties will have differing answers, so please keep an open mind.

And you aren't speaking from your opinion?

What hard evidence do you mean? You mean picking and choosing certain traits from other countries and comparing them with selective traits from the US?

Madine,

My point was, there haven't been single attacks conducted by criminal organizations that killed 3k people on the same day.
The difference between the Nazis and Al Qaeda is that the Nazis could be held accountable for their actions and removed from power in ways Al Qaeda cannot.

First off Madine, I hear or read what you are saying. Unfortunately...you forget the World Wars, remember D-Day? Normandy Beach? That eclipses anything that Al Qaeda has ever done, and yes the Nazi's were and still are a criminal organization. Saddam Hussein killing the Kurdish people with chemical weapons in a day of genocide. Or how about the United States dropping an Atomic bomb on Hiroshima? The U.S. did not drop it on any military installations, they dropped it on an entire city. Say what you will, but when you kill innocent people on PURPOSE it's not COLLATERAL damage it's TERRORISM.

So who even says Al Qaeda is responsible for 9/11? You? What our censored controlled media tells you? The newspapers? Our leaders? Give me ONE hard fact of evidence, besides audio that hasen't been chopped up and distorted. You are right though, Al Qaeda won't take the brunt of the punishment: Our U.S. soldiers, and the innocent people in Iraq are paying the price right now, with their blood...pretty cool huh? An eye for an eye, watch out we might blind ourselves to the truth.

By the way Madine, the Nazi's are still alive and well everybody at the Neurmberg trials were scapegoats, the United States recruited the talented scientists, who in fact were part of the Philadelphia Project. Look up "Project MK Ultra". The United States, some country, huh?

Madine,

I'm sure if our cops didn't carry guns, they would get shot at. Canada's "free" healthcare also brings along higher taxes and longer waits for medical care. Singapore has some of the strictest laws in the world. Do you support the death penalty for drug trafficking?

Do you know why our cops would get shot at? Do your HOMEWORK Madine, before you ask silly questions! First off, in England and in Holland and some other European countries, you are not allowed to own guns...that's why there is such a low crime rate in England. There are no children killing each other, no children accidently shooting themselves in the head, spouses aren't blowing each other away. My hope is that the kids of America learn from our mistakes, and see that we live in world of Materialistic desire married with greed.

Are you kidding me? "Higer TAXES!", Madine--Please, America is the capital of the world for the highest tax rates, and it keeps going up, where do you get your figures from. The American people get taxed on their income, the clothes they buy, the house they own, the car they have, there is a cigarrette tax, not to mention a luxury tax that the politicians NEVER have to pay, a P.U.D. tax, geez us Americans pay for the luxuries that the rich enjoy; all the while it's like pulling teeth to get a stretch of road paved.
"Longer waits for medical care"? Where have you been living? Have you done business with any insurance company, have you ever tried to file a claim? If you have then you know what I'm talking about, if you haven't just ask around--you'll find that the underwriters at most large insurance firms like to play with people who desperately need the medical coverage or settlement.

Regarding your last comment, it works for the people of Singapore. They have the respect of their people, to be a citizen is to act like one. Drugs are one of the biggest scurges in our society, I don't know how many families have been broken because of it, or how many people have died, but I'll tell you it's huge. Drugs are eating America from the inside out. I will say this, I think Singapore is on the right track, but I also believe it should be on a case by case basis--if you're dealing to little kids; then HELL YEAH! If you're dealing some weed to some grownups, then that where the case by case basis comes in. But Heroin, and Crack--Most definately.

Of course I am! If you don't read the blog thoroughly and asked a question that's already been answered...well what's the point? Please, I am opened minded I reply to each comment. Even yours...though I think you just want to be heard, and your comment really isn't saying much in a way of WHAT YOU THINK, hopefully all of this isn't going over your head. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that you're an asshole. But hey, that's just my lowly opinion.

And what about the countries in which there are plenty of guns in the hands of citizens, such as Israel and Switzerland?

Okay you can double talk all you want, and backtrack. I respect that but please tell me, why hasen't the United States caught the alleged mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, Osama Bin Laden? After all this guy is like 6'7 and needs to be on a dialysis machine. Here is the hard evidence: Regarding the 9/11 attacks, Iraq was not involved, no weapons of mass destruction were found--No Osama Bin Laden, No Weapons of Mass Destruction. Picking and choosing traits, no I go on whether the President of the United States is getting a B.J. from an intern, or Nixon calling blacks the "N" word. Sure other countries are mired in scandal, but the United States takes them all.

And that's your opinion. I love it you feel threatened and you revert to your Cro-magnon ancestry. Sure calling me a name may make you feel better, but you still can't understand the depth of what I am talking about. It's quite okay, not everyone can. I just hope one day you'll grow up and act like an adult. I've given you all the attention I'm going to give you. Good day. Please stay off my blog, you're contaminating it with your second-grade level literary filth.

Well Israel is in a constant state of war, and every citizen is required to spend two years in the Israeli army. You don't see the Israeli's killing one another do you? Switzerland, has one of the lowest murder rates by handgun. Besides the Swiss make each handgun owner go to class, not just a class, but a class which they must pass to own a handgun.

What does bin Laden and 9/11 have to do with any of my comments?

So, when you pick and choose the best traits of other countries and compare them to the worst traits of the United States, you aren't picking and choosing the best traits of other countries and compare them to the worst traits of the United States?

As for the US being the most scandalous country, I'd like to see some actual (and fair) comparisons.

Are you resorting to your Cro-Magnon ancestry when you resort to ad hominems?

Cro-magnon ancestry

You know what? I've seen you be hateful and condescending to a lot of people, including I might add, people you contend that you support and care so much about (that would be the military).

Please, I am opened minded I reply to each comment. Even yours...though I think you just want to be heard, and your comment really isn't saying much in a way of WHAT YOU THINK, hopefully all of this isn't going over your head.

Try not insulting people from the get-go and maybe you might actually influence someone's opinion. My "asshole comment" might have been a bit harsh, but can you prove otherwise?
