Will the FENCE SITTERS PLEASE STAND UP!
Okay it's Friday. I got to wake to "Gay marriages nullified". Look I have nothing against Homosexuals and what they do in the privacy in their homes, but come on! How long is this battle going to last. Before it was legal in (I won't name which state, to protect the innocent) to have two Gay people tie the knot; now it isn't. This is what the Homosexuals and the Lesbians have been waiting for: A forum, a big one at that, to martyr themselves on national television. Like I said I have nothing against that lifestyle, but I really don't want to watch it on the evening news.
I don't blame the Gays, I blame the politicians who are so wishy washy over this sensitive. It got even worse today, as I heard that the Governor of N.J. resigned after admitting having a homosexual affair while being in office and being married. That's not what really bothers me though, what really bothers me is that he gave his lover a cush job without having the right qualifications, incidently his lover was a lawyer. It just blows my mind that these things are happening in the highest places in the U.S. government, and believe me when I say this, there are many more people out there giving free rides for sexual favors. Like I said I have nothing against the Gay community. But being a straight man, I can't help to wonder if the Gay community looks out for their own based on sexual preference rather than qualifications. I know I'm going to get a lot of static for this, but hey if you're offended then tough!
I feel that this whole Gay marriage thing is getting too much attention, not to mention now there are Gay ministers! Oh man! Martin Luther must be turning over in his grave. To the politicians: Make up your minds, you were quick to send young men to die for oil, but hesitate on making a decision for two young men to marry? Like I said, what is our nation coming to?
It's Friday...the 13th. Some say this is a bad omen, others could care less. I would like to take this time to salute those loved ones serving in the Middle East, though I don't agree with it, I respect those men and women who's courage over shadows the moronic ideals of that of the white house. Shame on you Bush, you've started another war you can't handle, you are one of the biggest failures in American history. How many men and women must die for you? At what point can the people of America have peace? Will the Gays ever be able to live their lives, legally? I shudder to think how much more media coverage this issue is going to get.
